IU and JIYEON were frenemies?

There the best of friends now, but how close were T-ara‘s Jiyeon & IU years ago?

Appearing on the MBC show “Come To Play” IU revealed how she and Jiyeon came to be friends.

IU revealed her uncomfortablness with Jiyeon when they first met “Jiyeon looked very city-like, so I didn’t get to know her well after we debuted“.

As time  went by though she admitted the two grew closer, as they appeared together on the same variety shows.

IU also commented on how  much Jiyeon‘s beauty  struck her stating, “You looked really pretty“ but Jiyeon took it the wrong way and asked her if she wasn’t anymore, drawing laughter.
